Why TAFE is Awesome: short video competition

Why TAFE is Awesome — TAFE4ALL's inaugural short video competition — is now open!

We are looking for 2–3 minute videos that illustrate the value of TAFE for students and the community.

You can submit a short video in any category on the theme "Why TAFE is Awesome".

Win from a total prize pool of $2000:

1st prize $1000 and a pack of Madman DVDs
2nd prize: $500, 3rd prize: $500

SPECIAL PRIZE: One entrant will also be selected to undertake a two-week internship in Madman's Entertainment's DVD authoring department.

Competition closes 29 October 2012. Voting will cease on 9 November 2012.

HOW TO ENTER:

Entry is free. To enter you must:

  • Upload your video/s to YouTube
  • Send an email to info@tafe4all.org.au with the URL link to your video, along with your name/s, age/s, title of video and university or TAFE institute (if applicable).

Multiple entries are permitted. Entrants may only enter in their own name/s.

WHAT TO DO NEXT: 

Get all your mates to vote for your film!

First and second prize will be awarded based on which video has received the most "likes" on Why TAFE is Awesome facebook page.

Third prize will be decided by a panel of two Australian Education Union and two National Tertiary Education Union nominees.
