TAFE rallies head to the country
Regional TAFE institutes will be the hardest hit by Baillieu's savage cuts, so next week TAFE4All will be heading to the regions to rally support for the campaign to save TAFE.
Join us at your nearest campus to be part of the fightback and voice your opposition to this act of destruction.
Download a flyer and help spread the word, and go to our Facebook events page to let your friends know you'll be there.

We need to show how widespread the opposition to these cuts is. These are events for the whole community — staff, students, families, supporters. The rallies are being organised by the AEU and NTEU and the local trades and labour councils are supporting them.
There is already growing awareness in regional Victoria about the devastating nature of these cuts. The media has been active in educating the public and making people aware of what’s happening. People are calling talkback radio, writing letters to the editor and, in some instances, directly asking their local MP what they are doing to protect TAFE. We need to keep up this pressure.
Don't forget to send your own email to Premier Baillieu, Skills Minister Peter Hall and local MPs protesting the cuts to TAFE. One Labor MP has told us that 80% of her emails over the past week have been about TAFE. They need to be!
To see the extent of media coverage, check out TAFE councillor Susie Mandley’s scoop.it site: www.scoop.it/t/

There's a public forum at Melbourne Town Hall on June 20. There will be more Melbourne events but for the next couple of weeks we're focusing on the regions. The damage to communities there is going to be massive.
